I have a 508SW e-HDI, electromechanical transmission and the Start & Stop fitted.
According to the user guide, the system should stop the engine when the vehicle comes to a stop (<6km/hr) or the trasmission switched to neutral. It should not if the user confort, vehicle conditions (batery, engine temperature, etc...) or safety are not assured.
I've noticed that if the S&S is activated (vehicle stopped) and the electric brake is activated, the engine will restart. Same if a door is openned or the safety belt is released. This doesn't seem to be correct.
Does any one have any further information about the actual logic built into the S&S system?
